內容簡介

Jiaying
I don’t think it’s meant to be that colour – I think it’s mouldy. It’s the smell for me!

Neil
What? The smell for you? You mean you want to smell like the cheese I’m eating?

Jiaying
Definitely not! 在口語中，我們可以用 “it’s the… for me” 這個句式來表示 “自己喜愛或受不瞭某人或某物的主要原因在於……”，隻要在 “it’s the” 和 “for me” 的中間填上讓你產生強烈好惡感的那個特點即可。比如，我剛剛說，Neil 正在吃的奶酪氣味特別沖，讓我接受不瞭：“It’s the pungent smell for me.”
