Attempt這個單字和Try十分的相似,不過Attempt通常用於表現人的首次(初回)挑戰。當你想嘗試OO但是最後卻沒有執行,等過了一陣子後打算再次嘗試時,可以使用the second attempt來表現這個情況,不過基本上還是以表現初次嘗試為主。

Give it a go
give it a go 有著「去試著做看看、來挑戰看看、總之先做看看」等意思。在英國它比較是以日常的方式使用,並且具有積極努力的正面印象。

可能大家早就知道,在幫某人應援時’’Go for it =加油! ‘’的意思,除此之外它還有「向著目標努力邁進、努力試試看!」的意思存在。將整個句子拆解成go+for+it是否更好記呢?
