時間在每個人的生活中都佔有重要角色，不過你知道各種英文的「時間」表達方式嗎？
舉幾個生活例句為例，「我每天都是七點上學」、「一個小時以前我就吃過飯了」、「考試時間總共兩個小時」，這些英文說法你都知道嗎？

a.m還可以寫成「A.M.」、「am」、「AM」，不過意思都相同。p.m也是如此。

接下來讓我們看看更明確的時間表達方式，也就是幾點幾分的說法。
舉例來說，9點15分的說法是「nine fifteen」。至於分鐘的部分如果只有個位數，例如3分，要以「03」來表達，念成是「oh three」。
Tomorrow there will be a game at ten-fifteen.
明天10點15分會有一場比賽。
I will be on the train at eight twenty-one.
我會搭8點21分的火車。
每～分鐘 / 每隔～分鐘
中文裡面說的「每〜分鐘」、「每〜秒鐘」用英文表示就是搭配「every」作使用。
另外，「interval」則是「區間、間隔」的意思。
Trains arrive at the station every 10 minutes.
每十分鐘會有一班火車到站。
Its roller coaster runs at 15-minute intervals.
雲霄飛車每間隔十五分鐘會運轉一次。
過～之後
如果想要表示「再過多久的時間」、「〜之後」，可以用「in」或「later」來表示。
In的意思和用法
In一般表示以「現在」為起始點，「再過多久」的意思。
I will be at the station in an hour.
我再一小時後會到車站。
English conversation lessons begin in 30 minutes.
三十分鐘後英文會話課就會開始了。
I am excited that the show starts in 3 hours.
節目再三個小時就會開始了，我好期待。
Later的意思和用法
Later表示「等一下、待會」，屬於粗略的時間表達方式。
I will visit the company later.
我等一下會拜訪公司。
We will send you a quotation later.
我們待一下會把報價單寄給你。
～點整 / 連續～的時間
～點整
如果想要表示「整點時間」，就要在時間的前面加上「exactly」。或是在時間後面加上「o’clock」。
Please leave home to arrive at the venue at exactly 10:00.
請提早從家裡出發，在十點整抵達會場。
The exam begins at 9 o’clock, so do not be late.
考試九點開始，不要遲到了。
連續～的時間
想要表示「連續花了好幾個小時的時間」，可以利用句型「for〜hours on end」，或是「for〜hours straight」。
I have been stirring the cream for 10 minutes on end, how many minutes should I stir it the rest of the way?
我已經連續攪拌奶油十分鐘了，接下來還需要多久啊？
It’s hard to be in a camp for 24 hours straight.
連續待在這個營隊裡面24個小時真是辛苦。
利用past、to的時間表現方式
past用於表示「在什麼時間之後」，to則表示「再多久會到某個時間」。

We will be at the venue past 9:30!
我們會在9:30之後抵達會場！
I’m going to a restaurant today and hope to leave the office past 8 p.m.
我今天要去餐廳吃飯，所以希望八點多就能夠離開公司。

今天天氣真不錯，要不要十二點多出去吃午餐呢？
