hurry
A:Why are you in such a hurry? We’ve still got time. B:I know, but I think we should get in a car as soon as we can. The traffic in this city is terrible.
You should be in a hurry! We’ve got to go now or we’ll lose our chance to see our favorite actor!
I’m sorry but I’m in a hurry and I can’t talk to you right now. Let me call you later, ok?
此外,英語對話中常見的「panic」句型包括「I was panicked」、以及「I got panicked」。
I almost panicked when my best friend told me that she was going to move to London.
He got panicked when his dog suddenly got out of his house and ran away.
A:I can’t believe it! I can’t find my wedding ring! I have no idea where I put it. B:Ok, don’t panic. We’ll find that together.
「My mind went blank」
My mind went blank when I went in front of thousands of people to make a speech at the wedding ceremony.
I don’t remember a single word I spoke on the stage. My mind just went blank.
I tried to tell her that I liked her so much, but my mind went blank and all I said was that I liked her hairstyle.
