「get attention」是個經典的慣用語，代表「引起注意」。
「attention」是名詞，意思是「注意」「關心」或「察覺」。大家應該蠻熟悉航班廣播的「Attention, please.」。
與其說是自然地引人注目，語感比較接近是因為某事而引起注意。通常用在引起注意的動作或事件之後。
常用的種形式為「get someone’s attention（引起某人的注意）」。
He knocked on the window to get her attention.
他敲了敲窗戶，引起她的注意。 /為了引起她的注意，他敲了敲窗戶。
She wants recruiters to notice her, but she can’t seem to get their attention.
她希望招募人員注意到她，但她似乎無法引起他們的注意。
Is he bluffing to get attention?
他是為了引起注意而虛張聲勢嗎？
She tugged at her Dad’s sleeve to get his attention.

at the center of attention
「at the center of attention」是指「注目的焦點」。
「at the center of ～」是「在～的中心，在～的中間」，換句話說，「注意/注目的中間」 就是「焦點」。
Most children like to be at the center of attention.
大多數孩子都喜歡成為關注的焦點。
Tina loves being at the center of attention at any party. That’s the kind of person she is.
蒂娜喜歡成為任何聚會的焦點。她就是這樣的人。
→順帶一提，在派對和活動上表現出色的女性被稱為「belle of the ball」。 「belle」在法語中是指「美人」，「ball」也不是「球」，而是指「大型、正式的社交聚會」。
另一方面，有個詞稱為「壁花」，是形容一個人（尤其是年輕女孩）在聚會上獨自待著動也不動。過去也被稱為「cancelled stamp（蓋銷的郵票）」。

catch attention
「catch attention」也代表「吸引、受到關注」。
就跟「get attention」一樣，這也有因某事而引起注意的語感。
請注意，有時是用動詞「attract（吸引）」而不是「catch」。這時會被譯為「引人注目」或「引起關注」。
另外，還有其它各種使用「attention」的說法。例如，「pay attention（注意）」就是很常用的表達。

She was trying to catch his attention.

「in the spotlight」是個成語，代表「成為焦點」或「吸引注意力」，主要用於人。
常用於音樂會、舞台、演奏會、運動比賽等場合。「the spotlight」指的是「公眾的目光和關注」。
The MP has been in the spotlight recently since the revelation of his tax evasion.
自從逃稅行為被揭發後，這位議員最近成為了人們關注的焦點。
→在英國，國會議員被稱為「MP（Member of Parliament）」。
She likes to be in the spotlight.
她喜歡成為眾人矚目的焦點。
having a moment
「having a moment」是指「成為焦點」或「變得流行或繁榮（在特定時期）」。
Right now, oversized sunglasses are having a moment.
超大太陽眼鏡現在很流行。
Zen style is having a moment.
禪宗風格現正流行。
in the limelight
「in the limelight」的意思是「受到注目」。
「limelight」是聚光燈，一直以來用於舞台照明，直到電燈發明為止。
Tom always loves being in the limelight.
湯姆總是喜歡成為眾人矚目的焦點。
He was shy and reserved and avoided being in the limelight.
他害羞內向，避免成為眾人矚目的焦點。
If you are married to a famous person, you are always in the limelight.
