Yes, you can! And here’s why.

The bit of sunlight that causes damage to your skin is called ultraviolet radiation, or UV.
陽光中會對皮膚造成傷害的部分叫做 “紫外線(UV)輻射”。
It’s measured on a scale from 1 to 11+, and it’s usually strongest between late morning and early afternoon.
紫外線的強度被劃分為從 1 到 11+ 的不同等級,通常上午晚些時候到下午早些時候之間的紫外線強度最高。
In places near the equator, UV levels can be high all year.

The World Health Organisation recommends taking extra precautions when UV levels are at 3 or above.

Tips include wearing protective clothing, using at least SPF 30 sunscreen and reapplying every two hours.

Try to avoid midday sun, use shades wisely, and don’t forget sunglasses – UV rays can cause eye damage too.
